C’mon out to JERRY’S BAIT SHOP in LENEXA, KS – TONITE!!! After what seemed to be a very quick year, THE SHANKS will be performing our HOLIDAY BASH/ LAST SHOW OF THE YEAR tonite (December 17, 2011) at Jerry’s Bait Shop. Showtime starts at 9pm!!!

After many years performing LIVE at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center and ringing in the NEW YEAR with all of our friends and fans throughout Kansas City, this year’s annual celebration was cancelled due to the sale of the Hyatt to Sheraton.  THE SHANKS are currently booking the upcoming 2012 calendar and dates will be located on our website… www.theshankskc.com.

From ALL of us in THE SHANKS, we want to sincerely and graciously THANK all of our family, friends, and fans for all of your support NOT ONLY this year, but for ALL of your years of loyalty!!! It’s because of YOU that we’re given the opportunity to perform live and throw the craziest, and to quote… “non-moralistic” party around!!!  Thanks to all of you for giving us the opportunity to do what we love!!!…. ROCK-N-ROLL!!!

During the month of “ROCK-tober”, various charities have held very successful fundraisers raising money for the SUSAN G. KOMEN Breast Cancer Awareness foundation.  This past Friday night was no exception!!! Jerry’s Bait Shop in Lenexa, KS was host to a runway fashion expo that featured the styling and sexy undergarments of SAZZY’s Boutique (Located in Leawood, KS).  A very successful night of money raised for the cure!!!

THE SHANKS finished out the evening showcasing an array of classic to current ROCK-N-ROLL hits that left the dance floor packed and bar registers ringing!!! A special thanks to Vinnie and all the staff for another “welcomed home” event!!!

THE SHANKS next show – MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL IN KANSAS CITY!!! A special Halloween night performance for BUDWEISER & FARMLAND out at Arrowhead Stadium on Rocktober 31st.  A pre-game show at 4pm… come on out and cheer on THE CHIEFS!!!

After a couple of well needed weeks off, THE SHANKS returned for a great weekend of live rock-n-roll.  A special shout out to all of our friends, fans and amazing staff at Jerry’s Bait Shop in Lees Summit.  Friday night was a blast!!!

Saturday, Oct 15th had us at the Grand Opening Gala of Raymore, MO’s newest and coolest venue…. “THIRSTY ERNIE’S” Sports bar & grill…. needless to say, it was a very successful kick off night and we want to thank the owners, staff and all the great folks and our fans that came out to break them in!!! This weekend: Jerry’s Bait Shop in Lenexa, KS – Special evening kickin off with a Lingerie Fashion show hosted by Sazzy’s Boutique, raising money for Breast Cancer  Awareness.  THE SHANKS take the stage at 9pm… c’mon out dressed in your sexiest PJ’s or Lingerie…. contests for sexiest ensemble’s and booby prizes!!!!  SEE YA THEN!!!
